I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max 256 G, i had to backup and erase the full contents because off an attempt to hack my phone.

Later, I attempted to restore the phone with this backup, but it was corrupted.

The file in Windows 11 was difficult for me to find as I have iTunes from the WIndows Store, so several attempts to make it work including an uninstallation of iTunes Windows App, installation of the standard x64 version, but it dind't worked. Then, I realized it must of being the backup corrupted, and i got web recommendation to use this app; I donwloaded this app before purchase, and It took about 80 minutes to diagnose, then i got some believe that it could repair the backup; thus, I bought the app from Decypher Tools.
The actual repair of the backup took about 4 hr for 190 GB...
Now I am trying to get of the apps up and running since, I've been fighting this issue for 2 complete days...

Upgrade to iOS 26 failed. The backup it took while upgrade kept showing error that file is corrupt. There was no go back from all options iTunes had to offer. Apple sucks but this came as life saver. 1000% recommended !!!

I did a backup before updating iOS 18.6.1 to 18.6.2 on my iPhone. Well something in my connection probably was intermittently breaking, so it appeared that the backup was fine and then the phone bricked during the iOS upgrade. A two hour trip to the nearest Apple store and Genius bar got the phone back running, then when attempting to restore the iPhone from backup it failed. After many attempts I found Decipher Backup Repair doing searches and while at the end of my rope I gave it a shot. While my issue was not resolved "automagically", Kelly worked with me and through some advanced logging she found the issue and was able to guide me to get my phone restored. Eight days without my phone was not fun, but the thought of loosing my password manager and having to rebuild that terrified me! Great product with above and beyond support!!! Helped solve my issue over the weekend. There are not enough stars in the galaxy to rate this product and the support of the team!!!
